The 30-minute Morning Routine That Will Get You Right!

A great morning routine begins before anything or anyone else has the chance to steal your attention. It can happen so easily and without you even realizing it.

  • You wake up and check your phone (because it’s your alarm clock) and know your down the rabbit hole of emails and instagram posts.
  • You wake up when the kids do and before you’ve even had a chance to brush your teeth you’re in mom mode and it’s noon before you realize you haven’t eaten anything #guilty.

Well, #sorrynotsorry to tell you this, but my may need to make it a habit to get up earlier and do it old school by getting a real alarm clock. I know it will be hard at first, but it will be so worth it.

Now let’s get down to business! Well, the before business business of getting your mind right for the day ahead

Ask yourself the G.O.A.T question for making every day better than the next,

“If this was your last best day, what do you want it to look like?” Not only will you feel an immediate shift in your energy when you ask powerful questions, you are now taking control of the outcome. Your day is what you make it. Make it spectacular.

Next, journal about the positive outcome you desire for your day.

What you you want to achieve. If you’re not the type that likes to journal, then just make a list of 3 things you’re grateful for and a top goal for the day.

The best advice I can give you about this part of your new routine is to not make it all about business. Don’t leave family our friends out or other things going on in your life.  You get what you focus on and if you only focus on work, that’s all your life will be about.

Lastly, pray and meditate on the beautiful day that you’ve decided to have for yourself.

I have found this to be a great way to bring my thoughts and desires all together. Ask for what you need. Give thanks for what you have.

These 3 steps won’t just change your day, it can change your life if done consistently. Since make my morning routine a top priority, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in stress and anxiety. The latter being a big issue for me in the past. Stress and anxiety usually show up when I haven’t been sticking to my routine, and that’s why I know how powerful it is.

Try this 30-minute routine for the next 14 days and let me know on IG or Twitter how it went. I would love to hear about it. In the meantime and between time, Live Life.
